Country Bumpkin

I paid a visit to Newcastle at the weekend and realised how much I miss having lots of people around. I love solitude but I also like the hustle and bustle of a busy city and to feel anonymous which you can only really do in a large city.

Despite it being only mid November, the Christmas decorations were up and the ice rink was bustling with people.

I'm planning a repeat visit in order to get my 'fix' of city life on a more frequent basis, that and the fact that there are some great shops there!
