Faulty goods

If, in the unlikely event, an item you have purchased is faulty, please advise us as soon as possible, in order for us to rectify the problem. Initially and where possible, we prefer to try and have the item mended by the manufacturer to avoid disposing of items unnecessarily. If however, this is not feasible or it is not your wish, we will replace or refund the item. Where the item has been bought as part of a multi pack, a pro-rata refund will be offered for the faulty item. We reserve the right not to refund items which have been misused. Return postage will be refunded at second class postage rate. We strongly suggest you insure against loss as we regret we cannot be held responsible for returned goods that are damaged or lost en-route.

Returns

We are happy to return or exchange items, provided we are contacted within 7 days of receipt and the goods are unused and in original packaging. Please note that return postage is payable by the person returning the goods. Security

All credit and debit card online transactions are processed by Nochex and are encrypted to the highest commercially available level of 128 bits.

Privacy

Your privacy is important to us and we will not pass on any information about you or your order to third parties. We will not contact you, other than about your order, unless you have given us your consent to join our mailing list.

Delivery

Postage and delivery is free within the UK for all orders over £100. Orders under this amount will incur a charge of £2.99 Orders will be posted within 3 working days from the date of order, or after your cheque has cleared if paying by cheque. Occasionally, if waiting for new stock to arrive, it may take longer and you will be notified of the revised delivery time. Goods are posted using Royal Mail. If you prefer to use an alternative posting method, please let us know and we will advise you of the revised postage costs.

Ordering

You can place your order and pay online at any time, day or night. If you prefer to speak with us to place your order we would be delighted to hear from you on: 01228 712699. We are open from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday. An answering machine is in operation outside of these hours.

Payment

When ordering online you can pay by most major debit and credit cards. If you prefer to pay by cheque, please make it payable to Cotton Baby and send to: Cotton Baby, 7 The Paddocks, Thursby, Cumbria, CA5 6PB. Important note: If ordering online your payment will appear as Nochex, not Cotton Baby.

Confirmation of order

When you have placed an order online we will e-mail you confirmation of your order. Please check this carefully and advise us immediately of any errors.
