Why Use Real Nappies?

Concern for the environment is one of the main reasons many parents opt to use real nappies. Every baby will have around 5,000 nappy changes during his or her time in nappies. That's 5,000 disposable nappies into landfill per child, which equates to around 3 billion nappies per year in the UK

With real nappies you will use a fraction of that number of nappies and even taking into account the washing of nappies, the environmental impact is negligible in comparison to disposables which are made up of paper pulp, super absorbent chemicals, plastics and adhesives.

Additionally, many of our nappies are made in the UK and all of them can be washed with your normal household laundry at temperatures as low as 30°. Soaking is not necessary, making them even more environmentally friendly.
